| The mission of the Youth Home is to provide a safe, secure, and positive environment for juveniles and staff. Its purpose is to provide juvenile detention for the protection of the juvenile and the community. The basic emphasis is on positive service, programs, and care for a juvenile pending a court disposition. When used appropriately, detention care is an important step in the process of improving a juvenile?s behavior. | |
