Rain Barrels

Save $$ and water by collecting rainwater year-round to water your plants, lawns, or even wash your car!

 

65 gallon barrels (black models only) are only $90.00 (cash or checks made out to “Durham SWCD” will be accepted) and are made from 100% recycled plastic.

Easy to install, with a screen trap in the top to keep debris and bugs out, with a child resistant lid with built in lock channels, and one spigot that will fit standard size garden hose.

SHADE WILDFLOWER MIXTURE

The Shade Blend tolerates filtered sunlight all day on the edge of the woodlands. This mixture contains Dwarf Columbine, Cornflower Tall, Cornflower Dwarf, Chicory, Lanceleaved Coreopsis, Plains Coreopsis, Purple Coneflower, Indian Blanket, Baby's Breath, Dames Rocket, Tree Mallow, Toadflax, Lemon Mint, Corn Poppy, Black-Eyed Susan, Catchfly, and Johnny Jump Up.

LOW GROWING WILDFLOWER MIXTURE

The Low Growing Blend thrives best in full sun. This mixture contains Cornflower, Siberian Wallflower, Godetia Dwarf, Chinese Houses, Lanceleaved Coreopsis, Plains Coreopsis, Chinese Forget-Me-Nots, Sweet William, African Daisy, California Poppy, Baby's Breath, Candytuft, Linaria Fairy Bouquet, Blue Flax, Sweet Alyssum, Lupine Pixie Delight, Baby Blue Eyes, California Bluebells, and Catchfly.

 

BIRD AND BUTTERFLY WILDFLOWER MIXTURE

The Bird and Butterfly mixture needs a minimu of six hours of sunlight. This mixture includes Columbine, Butterfly Weed, New England Aster, Cornflower, Painted Daisy, Shasta Daisy, Clarkia, Lanceleaved Coreopsis, Plains Coreopsis, Cosmos, Yellow Cosmos, Rocket Larkspur, Sweet William, Purple Coneflower, Candytuft, Spurred Snapdragon, Sweet Alyssum, Maltese Cross, Evening Primrose, Annual Phlox, Black-Eyed Susan, Scarlet Sage, and Marigold.
