A Detention Officer is a sworn position within the Detention Services Division. This position requires handling persons who have been arrested, detained or sentenced by court action. The primary function of the Detention Officer is the safety and care of those persons. Detention Officers work 14 days a month on a 12 hour rotating shift (includes holidays and weekends) |
