Explorer Post
The Office of the Sheriff has started an Explorer Post, which is a part of the Boy Scouts of America. The Explorer Post is an excellent way for young people to learn about a career in law enforcement and to learn leadership skills that will help them later in life.

The intent of law enforcement Exploring is to educate and involve youth in law enforcement operations, to interest them in law enforcement functions whether they enter law enforcement work or not. This program is designed for young men and women ages 14 through 20. Meetings are held the second Tuesday and one Saturday per month.  Its flexible design attempts to match the interest of youth with the careers and hobbies of adults. Several of our officers help with this program with a Lieutenant in charge of the program.

If you are interested in more information, please contact Lt. E. Scott at 560-0930 or e-mail us.
