Durham, N.C. – The Durham City-County Planning Director Steve Medlin will hold a news conference on Friday, October 9, at 3:30p.m., to release his ruling on the validity of the Haw River Assembly Protest Petition related to the Jordan Lake Critical Area. The news conference will be held in the Durham County Board of Commissioners’ Chambers, second floor, 200 E. Main Street.  A public hearing on the zoning map change for the Jordan Lake Critical Area is on the Durham Board of County Commissioners’ agenda for the Monday, October 12, meeting.
