Durham,
N.C. – Welcome Baby Family Resource Center, a Durham County Cooperative
Extension program providing free parenting education and support to families
with children from birth to age 5, seeks childcare helpers. Child care helpers are needed to hold
babies and engage pre-school children in reading and play activities while their
parents attend classes, workshops and other Welcome Baby offerings.
Welcome Baby
depends heavily on assistance from volunteers. Day and evening volunteer opportunities
are now available. Bilingual volunteers are especially needed.
