During the Hurricane Strike


Remember the winds and rain return after the eye passes.

  1. Stay in your house.
  2. Stay away from windows.
  3. Keep a supply of flashlights and extra batteries handy. Avoid open flames, such as candles and kerosene lamps, as a source of light.
  4. If power is lost, turn off major appliances to reduce power "surge" when electricity is restored.
