Swap Shop
The Swap Shop is located at the Redwood Convenience Center at Redwood Road and Exume Road.  It is available Monday through Saturday from 7:00am and 7:00pm.

The purpose of the Swap Shop is to give residents a place to drop off items to make them available to the general public at no cost.  In the past, items no longer wanted were discarded in the normal waste stream.  Now, if the owner would like to put the items back in circulation to give it a new lease on life in someone else's hands, they can bring in items and leave them in the Swap Shop for anyone interested.

The idea is to not add to the discarded material Durham county already disposes as well as giving someone else a chance at getting items they can't afford to purchase.

Persons interested in donating items may drop them off at the above listed times.  Materials should be things in usable condition, clean, non-perishable, no hazardous materials and items deemed usable by most people.
