Durham County voters will vote on the bond issue on November 4, 2008.

On November 4, 2008, all Durham voters will decide, in an advisory referendum, whether or not a 1% sales tax on prepared foods will be approved. This site is designed to answer general questions about the proposal including a complete listing of projects to be funded with the anticipated proceeds.

In addition, proceeds will be used as follows:

  • 80% for civic and cultural amenities
